Active Lanzarote is the sports brand of Sands Beach Resort. Nestling on its own seawater lagoon on the eastern edge of Costa Teguise, Sands Beach Resort is a perfect blend of first class sports facilities and nurturing environment in a luxury, tropical setting. On site facilities include an internationally accredited, 25 metres swimming pool with eight lanes, a depth of 2.2 metres and heated to 26º C; a fully equipped gym with treadmill, rowing machines, weights (free and machine) and a multi-gym; Stand Up Paddle, windsurfing and trial dive tuition.

Active Lanzarote is integrally involved in the sports life of Lanzarote, annually staging two of the island's major events, the Spring Duathlon and Lanzarote International Marathon, attracting top local, national and international athletes. We sponsor a team of professional duathletes and triathletes who compete at Olympian and World Championship level; are in partnership with Uplace Pro Triathlon Team for whom we are the preferred winter training supplier and work in partnership with Sailfish Professional Sports Gear.

We provide bespoke training for individual athletes and sports groups including personalised fitness regimes and workshops on nutritional advice and sports injury prevention; on-site physiotherapy; special diets where required and expert inputs from our sponsored athletes. We also arrange all your accommodation, conference, social and excursion requirements.
