    Scuba Diving Holidays in Lanzarote

    hiking-big

Dare to dive into another world

The clear waters of the Atlantic present you with tantalising choices,as scuba covers many forms. Drift, reef, cavern, wreck, photography or lava tube, Lanzarote has it all. Best you choose a good school to go with, Calipso Diving, based in Costa Teguise is a BSAC centre of excellence and can show you the best sites.

    Pick a reef, there’s plenty

There are 7 main diving reefs to choose from, try the lava caves of Mala in the north for a glimpse of the volcanic past. Punta Jabillo, near Costa Teguise is fairly shallow at 7 metres but a good place to spot Angel Sharks.

    Wrecked and ready for you

Who else would sink 3 boats especially for your diving pleasure, that happened at the Wreck Park, just west of Puerto del Carmen in 2004. They join 3 other sunken vessels around Punta Tinosa and Barranco de Kikere, at up to 29 metres this has a deep fascination. The Rabat wreck sits just outside the Lanzarote capital Arrecife, scene of many a sea battle but now the place to find black sea urchins and barracuda.
