The mid point of Lanzarote is a good place to start your wheels turning, in the north that means Club La Santa, where serious sportsmen go for intensive cycling programmes. Be like the hardened pros and hire the latest Cannondale carbon frame bike or go in a group, with or without a coach.
On the south side, Costa Teguise will open up the island for you. The Bike Station caters for all levels and provides full safty equipment and childrens seats if you want to make it a family thrill. Whether it’s an American Trek bike or a 20 or 16 inch smaller frame, you are set to tour or mountain bike.
Here’s a few routes to ponder, an 80 km uphill ride to Mirador del Rio and back, or flatter but longer at 125 kms, the south tour will take you to Playa Blanca. Turn the heat up with a 110 km odyssey to the Timanfaya National Park or challenge the mountains on a 70 km spread.
Think Mountains, Red hot Roads, Blazing saddles, in Lanzarote, where the cycling and the Views are Breath taking.
