This is the first time the KPWT Kiteboard Pro World Tour has staged an event in Lanzarote. From 1 to 6 June 2010, the best kite boarders in the world will compete for the competition title and the prize money pot of 40,000 euros. The event will cover several disciplines such as Freestyle, Wavemaster, and Junior.
Famara on the north west coast of Lanzarote is the venue, it’s a big favourite with sea sports fans, due to the winds, overall good weather and the large sweeping bay.

The clinics are a maximum of 10 people and are designed for the intermediate to advanced kite boarding enthusiast with the first clinic being held from the 14th – 16th of August and the second from the 21st – 23rd of August.
