Lanzarote – As hard as a rock
It’s all about challenging nature and above all yourself. From 1730, it took six years for lava to transform Lanzarote to the adventure playground it is now, the least we can do is to test to to the limits. Even the annual Ironman contestants are in awe of this island and the rugged roads and mountain trails.
Making waves, Atlantic style
The Atlantic that laps at the shore serves up great waves for surfing by traditional board, or for an extra kick there’s the wind or kite variety. There’s more thrills down below, for scuba divers, or you can power across the surface in boats, jet skis and by sail power.
